Effective January 1, 2010, Mark Berard joined Dexco Polymers' R&D team as Senior Development Specialist. Mark will focus on new product development and new business development for VECTOR Styrenic Block Copolymers, primarily in the Specialty Polymers market sector. Mark's extensive polymer experience, his proven track record of new product development successes, and his customer focus will all prove valuable to Dexco. Previous to joining Dexco, Mark worked for 18 years with the TYRIN Chlorinated Polyethylene business. He is well regarded in the polymer industry, having recently been named an Honored Service Member by the Society of Plastics Engineers, one of only 14 such recognitions given nationally.

Mark has a BS degree in Chemistry from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from University of Massachusetts Amherst.
