VECTOR® styrenic block polymers (SBC’s) are a growing family of thermoplastic elastomers and flexible thermoplastic resins manufactured by Dexco Polymers LP.  Dexco has developed proprietary polymer synthesis technology that provides unprecedented control of block copolymer composition and properties.  Dexco Polymers LP offers very stable, narrow molecular weight styrenic block copolymers produced sequentially in an anionic polymerization process.  These pure (virtually 100%) triblock copolymers contain no residual diblock and have excellent elastic properties.

A number of VECTOR® styrenic block copolymers grades have utility as the base polymer for the manufacture of a variety of molded and extruded products.  Spanning a broad range of “Shore A” hardness, VECTOR® SIS and SBS copolymers offer value in sporting goods, toys, housewares, footware, and films.

Easy to process, VECTOR SBC’s exhibit superior heat aging properties, excellent clarity, and scrap and trim recyclability.  VECTOR grades are available which comply with the FDA’s food additive regulation subject to certain limitations.  A certification letter is available from your Dexco Polymers LP sales representative.
