| VECTOR® styrenic
block copolyers are used in elastomeric films for
personal care applications demanding highly elastic
properties. VECTOR resin is a
preferred material because of its pure triblock
structure, giving it superior elastomeric
properties. These
products can be used as substitutes for materials such as SEBS.
VECTOR SBC grades for use in health care are
certified to meet applicable FDA
and USP standards.
Being totally synthetic, they lack the contaminants
and the allergens found in natural rubber. Not
requiring crosslinking to develop strength, they
are free of the taste, odor and nitrosamines that
often accompany conventional rubber vulcanizates.
